Hi everyone who visit my blog.. well how you can see that guy from the picture is me ( and yes that picture is old) ..now I am going to comment in a few sentences how I decided to study animation at Vancouver Film School

I have to be honest, I never thought studying animation before even I had never made animation either. Since I was a child I liked drawing animals, caricatures of my friends and family, specially very cartoon stuff but always I saw it just like a Hobby because in my country (Chile) the industry of animation (or anything related with drawing and paint) is not good and very bad paid. Actually, it is growing up a little bit more but not enough to live just with that job. SoFinally I went to University to study Business( marketing) and work in that Industry but If a I wanna make a difference in Business I have to learn english very well if I wanna get a job in an international company or some great company. So I decided (thanks to my parents too of course hahaa) the last year go to Vancouver to study english at EF (Education First), was there where I met a Chilean outside of some store who told me about VFS.. so I went to the offices of VFS to apply but the guard told me that I needed a Appointment first..I said in spanish "Diablos" and he heard mm and ask me i f I was Chilean I said yes...and he told me I am from Chile too hahaha..so he let me go inside haha and finally applied and they accepted me haha..thanks to fate.. hah..
Debo ser honesto, jamás pensé estudiar animación antes
incluso nunca realicé una animación tampoco. Desde que era un niño me gustaba
dibujar animales, caricaturas de mis amigos y familia, especialmente cosas muy
cartoon pero siempre lo veía como un hobby ya que en mi país (Chile) la industria
de la animación (o todo lo relacionado con el dibujo y pintura) no es buena y
no es muy buen pagada. Actualmente ha estado creciendo un poco pero no
suficiente para vivir solo de ese tipo de trabajo. Finalmente ingrese a la
Universidad para estudiar negocios (marketing) y trabajar en esa industria pero
si quería diferenciarme de otros necesitaba aprender inglés muy bien, por lo
que decidí ir estudiar inglés en EF en la ciudad de Vancouver, fue ahí donde
conocí a otros chilenos que me comentaron sobre Vancouver Film School. En
resumen fui a VFS donde para sorpresa mía el guardia también era chileno por lo
que me dejo pasar sin necesidad de hacer una cita, finalmente apliqué y me
aceptaron.
The best thing is that I liked a lot I hope I can make more short films and specially work on Character Design ...Seeya
Lo mejor es que me ha gustado bastante, espero continuar haciendo cortos animados y especialmente trabajar en diseños de personajes.
